About the event:
The Hollow Body Studios Roots Music Festival was set up to showcase
talented musical artists primarily from the New York Tri-State region.
Due to the overwhemling success of the the first show, we have added
two more dates this Fall, 2005, which now brings the total dates
to four for the year. The event looks to showcase artists who encompass
or are at least partly influenced by elements of folk, traditional
country, bluegrass, americana, blues and jazz. Additionally, and
perhaps most importantly, artists who uphold a certain lyrical standard
in their writing, and whose music manifests dynamic sensibilities.
